Clive Booker has over thirty years experience in a variety of specialized project types both in the United States and abroad. It is his earlier international experience that serves as a unique foundation for his approach to design and his ability to understand and respond effectively to the individual needs of each client.

Whilst in the UK, he saw involvement in a variety of internationally acclaimed Museum and Cultural projects in Europe and the Middle East, notable the London Museum, London, England; the London Treasury at St Paul’s Cathedral, London.

For the last twenty-five years he has specialized in Hospitality design throughout the United States, the Caribbean and South America. Client experience includes work for Hilton Worldwide, Omni Hotels, Marriott International, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as well as for individual privately owned Hotels, Resorts, Golf Clubs, Yacht Clubs and Spas.

Selected hotel project experience includes the recently completed repositioning of the Tamarind Hotel, St. James, Barbados for Elegant Hotel Group; the full renovation of the British Colonial Hilton, Nassau, Bahamas; the full renovation of the Caribe Hilton, San Juan, Puerto Rico; the Q Club Resort & Residences, Ft. Lauderdale; the Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, St. Thomas, USVI*; the Ritz-Carlton San Juan Hotel & Casino, San Juan, Puerto Rico*; Marriott's Orlando World Center Hotel, Orlando*.

He maintains involvement in all aspects of the design process particularly in the initial concept and development phases and believes that the client is an integral member of the design team whilst at the same time recognizing that good design does not necessarily have to be expensive as a service or as an overall project cost.

Prior to forming DSI Hospitality in 2002, he served as the Director of Hospitality Design in the Miami office of RTKL Associates, an internationally recognized Architectural and Interior Design company.

Clive Booker graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture from the University of Kingston Upon Thames, London and received the Royal Society of Arts Award for 3D Design later that year.  He was a National Gold Key Award Finalist for Hospitality Design in 1998 in a joint venture with Howard Snoweiss Design Group for The Ritz-Carlton Grand Palazzo Hotel in St. Thomas. DSI Hospitality has also been nominated for a number of national design awards and has been recognized in publications throughout the design community.
